Dear Supporter,
Because of your compassion and generosity, newborn babies in northern Syria are receiving the critical medical care they need during the most fragile moments of their lives. Your support is helping save lives and giving families hope when they need it most.
Among the babies whose lives have been touched by your kindness is Baby Fatima, who was admitted to Al-Ikhaa Hospital shortly after birth suffering from severe respiratory distress and dangerously low oxygen levels. Her condition required immediate intervention, and she was transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit, where SEMA's dedicated medical team worked tirelessly to provide the specialized treatment she urgently needed.
Thanks to timely medical care made possible by donors like you, Fatima began to show encouraging signs of improvement. Her breathing became more stable, her oxygen levels increased, and she was eventually able to breathe independently. While she continues her journey toward full recovery, she now has a fighting chance at a healthy future.
Fatima's story reflects the reality faced by many premature and critically ill newborns across northern Syria. For families already burdened by conflict, displacement, and poverty, access to neonatal intensive care can mean the difference between life and loss.
Thank you for standing beside these vulnerable babies and their families. Your generosity is providing lifesaving treatment, supporting dedicated healthcare professionals, and offering parents the priceless gift of hope.
Because of you, tiny hearts continue to beat stronger, fragile lungs continue to heal, and more newborns are given the opportunity to grow, thrive, and celebrate the milestones every child deserves.
Together, we are saving lives—one newborn, one family, and one miracle at a time.
With deepest gratitude,
