Dear Supporter,
Thank you for making life-saving medical care possible for the most vulnerable families in northern Syria.
Newborn babies are among those at greatest risk. Many arrive at hospitals too early, too weak, and in urgent need of intensive care that their families could never afford on their own.
Baby Mohammed was born prematurely, and his condition was critical from the moment he arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria. Our medical team immediately transferred him to the neonatal intensive care unit and placed him on a ventilator to help him breathe.
For Mohammed’s family, the fear was overwhelming. Five of his siblings had previously died shortly after birth because of premature delivery. This time, however, your support helped give their child a different chance.
For nearly ten days, Mohammed remained on the ventilator while our doctors and nurses worked continuously to stabilize his condition and protect his fragile life.
Thanks to your generous donations, he received the specialized care, medical equipment, and close monitoring he urgently needed.
Today, Mohammed is healthy and back home with his family.
Your contribution helped turn a moment of fear into relief, and a life-threatening beginning into a story of survival.
Thank you for standing with newborns like Mohammed and for helping SEMA continue providing free, critical care to families who have nowhere else to turn.
Because of you, a family that had already endured unimaginable loss was able to take their baby home alive.
With deepest gratitude,
