Dear Supporter,
Your generosity continues to create life-saving impact for the most fragile newborns in northern Syria. Because of your compassionate support, babies who arrive in critical condition are receiving urgent medical care, specialized treatment, and the chance to survive.
Today, we are honored to share the story of baby Laya.
At just 27 hours old, Laya was admitted to one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, struggling to breathe and fighting for her life. She was suffering from severe respiratory distress and sepsis, placing her tiny body in a critical and dangerous condition.
Thanks to your donations, Laya received immediate medical attention from a dedicated neonatal care team. Our doctors and nurses worked tirelessly, monitoring her closely and providing the urgent treatment she needed.
And today, we share this update with deep gratitude and joy: Laya’s condition has greatly improved. After days of intensive care and unwavering medical support, she is now preparing to return home healthy and safe to the arms of her loving parents.
This is the lasting impact of your donation.
Your support does more than fund medical care — it saves lives, protects families from heartbreak, and gives newborns like Laya the chance to grow, smile, and live.
From all of us, and from the families whose lives you have touched, thank you for standing with newborns in northern Syria when they needed you most.
With heartfelt gratitude,
