Because of your generosity, newborn babies in northern Syria are receiving the urgent medical care they need in their most fragile moments. Your donations have helped provide life-saving treatment for premature infants and newborns facing serious complications at birth.
Today, we are grateful to share the story of baby Ali.
Ali was born prematurely, entering the world before his tiny body was ready. Soon after birth, he began struggling with respiratory distress, placing his life in immediate danger. For a newborn so small and vulnerable, every minute mattered.
Thanks to your support, Ali was admitted to one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, where he received swift medical intervention and specialized neonatal care. Doctors and nurses worked carefully to stabilize his breathing, monitor his condition, and give him the best possible chance to survive.
During his days in the intensive care unit, Ali’s progress was gradual — but full of hope. Each improvement was a powerful reminder of what compassionate giving can make possible.
Because of you, Ali was not left to fight alone.
Your support helped give him a fighting chance, brought comfort to his family, and turned a moment of fear into a story of hope and recovery.
