Dear Supporter,
Some moments are almost impossible to put into words.
A mother holding her newborn baby after enduring seven heartbreaking losses.
This is the story of Fatima—and it is also a story of what your generosity makes possible every day in northern Syria.
Fatima was born prematurely at just 32 weeks, facing several serious complications, including hemolysis, blood group incompatibility, and severe breathing difficulties. Her condition required urgent and highly specialized neonatal care.
For her mother, the fear was overwhelming. She had already experienced the devastating loss of seven babies during late pregnancy or shortly after birth.
This time, however, the outcome was different.
With God’s mercy and thanks to your support, our medical team was able to provide Fatima with the intensive care she urgently needed, including two blood transfusions, two exchange transfusions, respiratory support, and essential medications.
Today, we are deeply grateful to share the news we had all hoped for:
Fatima recovered and was discharged from the hospital in good health.
Your donations helped give this mother a moment she had waited years to experience—the chance to finally take her baby home in her arms.
To every donor who made this possible: thank you.
Your generosity is not simply funding medical treatment. It is helping our doctors intervene at the most critical moments, giving fragile newborns a fighting chance and families a reason to hope again.
Fatima’s recovery is one beautiful reminder that your compassion is saving lives.
With heartfelt gratitude,
