Dear Supporter,
For a premature newborn, the first hours of life can determine everything.
Little Mousa was born at just 32 weeks of pregnancy, entering the world far earlier than expected and facing serious medical complications, including respiratory weakness and a severe blood infection.
His tiny body needed immediate and intensive medical care.
At one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, our neonatal team provided Mousa with the specialized treatment and close monitoring he needed during those critical days.
And today, we are grateful to share wonderful news:
Mousa overcame the most dangerous stage of prematurity, recovered, and was discharged from the intensive care unit in good health.
Behind this beautiful outcome stands the generosity of people like you.
Your donations help provide premature and critically ill newborns with access to intensive care, lifesaving medications, respiratory support, and the medical attention they urgently need—regardless of their families’ ability to pay.
Thank you for being part of Mousa’s journey from a fragile beginning to a hopeful new chapter.
But many other newborns are still fighting for their lives.
We invite you to continue standing beside these vulnerable babies in northern Syria. Your support can help give another newborn the same chance Mousa received—a chance to survive, recover, and finally go home in the arms of their family.
For a tiny newborn fighting to breathe, your generosity can mean the difference between fear and hope, between crisis and recovery.
With heartfelt gratitude,
