For more than two years, Fatima lived with severe pain in her foot, making even ordinary movement difficult.
Today, we are grateful to share better news.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, Fatima received the specialized surgery she urgently needed to replace her damaged foot joint.
The surgery was successful.
She is now recovering well, and her medical team expects that she will gradually regain her ability to walk normally again.
For Fatima, this means much more than completing a medical procedure. It means relief after years of pain, greater independence, and the possibility of returning to everyday life with confidence.

At SEMA, we continue to meet patients across northern Syria who are living with painful and serious medical conditions but cannot afford the treatment they need.
