This campaign aims to provide BASR, as a main healthcare provider, with urgently needed medical supplies and equipment, essential for the continuation of healthcare provision for the Palestinian population in light of recent escalations by the Israeli Occupation in the West Bank and Gaza, through BASR's rehabilitation and surgical hospital. Together, with your support, we can ensure that healthcare providers have the lifeline they need to deliver critical care during the most challenging times.
The humanitarian situation in Palestine has been worsening over the years. Gaza is currently under harsh, life-threatening attacks, while the West Bank is under strict lockdown. Due to the increased restrictions and Israeli raids on Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps in the West Bank, it is expected that the number of casualties arising as a result will increase. Given the restrictions and raids, BASR is in urgent need of medical supplies and equipment.
This project will enable BASR to have the needed medical supplies and consumables essential for its operations, while allowing it to respond to the urgent and critical needs of persons with injuries as a result of the attacks and escalations. The availability of medical supplies will allow BASR's emergency, surgical and cardiology departments to continue to save lives, especially with restrictions on movement and restrictions on referrals from outside the governorate of Bethlehem.
BASR has always been and will continue to be a leader in responding to the urgent needs during times of emergency. With your support, BASR will continue playing a critical role on the frontline, given its capacity to provide critical medical and rehabilitative care.
