Thanks to your generous donations we have been able to reach over 800 families in Maputo and Pempa. We have intensified donation of food vouchers in Pemba, in the Cabo Delgado province, where the COVID crisis has been compounded with a humanitarian catastrophe, as half a million civilians are reportedly on the run fighting violence, which has already killed over 2000 people and intensified in the latest months.
We have heard and seen first-hand houses being looted and burned, families separated and health centres and schools seriously damaged. Many of such families are seeking refuge and help from the Sisters of Jesus Good Shepart, our local partner.
So our food vouchers have gone in the right hands and will be critical to help displace people who need everything. We appeal to you to share our campaign widely and allow us to do more.
Once again thank you
