Our Angela, Malawi project leader, updates us with good news on the project: in the small gym were built a fixed wooden ladder and a handrail to ensure that children with difficulty walking can begin their first steps.
A few days ago, have arrived the tools for the children’s rehabilitation exercises: wooden rocking horses, big balloons, a swing for exercising to maintain the balance and numerous mattresses on which children can do their exercises on a soft floor rather than being laid above their typical chitenje.
To September we will send a container with two cycles and 15 tubular coloured pillows that our children can use during their exercises as indicated by the physiotherapist.
With this little gym, the children are doing their job more joyfully and despite the sacrifices they begin to see the first results and to believe in a change!
