Thank you for your support

"We would like to extend sincere gratitude for everyone who has supported our activities. We do believe it was the strongest support for the affected people that you were always being with us.

Even though our Disaster Volunteer Center is closing, there is a long way and time needed for the affected people to get back to their normal everyday life.

We appreciate for your continuous support for our reconstruction."

Peace Winds Japan has received thanks letters from several municipalities in Hiroshima prefecture, informing that Disaster Volunteer Centers are closing but they are going to continue their support for the affected people.

We would like to share these letters, with our warmest appreciation that each one of you enabled us to serve for the affected people on the ground.

From now on, we are going to focus more on supporting the effort of community-based disaster risk reduction not only in the affected area of this flood but all over Japan, keeping in mind that everywhere is hazard-prone in Japan.

Again, thank you so much for your kind support, and we wish you keep walking with us of this challenging way of reducing risks and sufferings from disasters, as we believe it's worth tireless endeavour.
