PHASE Nepal has started a fund of $5000 and aims to reach $50000 fund for initiative.
This project aims to provide treatment and hospitalization support for frontline health workers, community facilitators, and the management team in remote areas. In case they contract severe infections while working in low-resource settings, this assurance ensures uninterrupted health services and community work in remote villages. The fund is dedicated to assisting staff during times of serious illness, infection, or accidents, enabling timely rescue and treatment support.
This project will enable PHASE to set up an emergency treatment fund which it plans to develop as a permanent fund. In addition to providing treatment and hospitalization support, the long-term fund will also provide lifesaving support such as airlifting of women with complicated deliveries from remote areas. Therefore, in the long run, it will not just be an organization's fund it will be the fund for the PHASE's remote working communities to support in health emergencies.
