PHASE Frontline health workers has been proving 24 hours emergency services, regular OPD services, child delivery, ANC checks and COVID-19 prevention works from 15 different himalayan health posts it supports in remote location of Sindhupalchok, Gorkha, Humla, Mugu and Bajura.
The team which ealier supported COVID-19 vaccination in different working location is also currently assisting Nepal governments' new lot of COVID-19 vaccination programme aimed for the people aged 45 and above in places like Gorkha. PHASE Nepal health workers are proving to be rare manpower to provide skilled services as such as vaccination in the remote.
" We really value PHASE Nepal's health workers presence in our villages. Apart from their regular services, the have been supporting in COVID-19 responses too. Recently, we have brought the Verocell (SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine) in the cold boxed to our village which cannot be stored for long. It is a relief that PHASE's skilled staff have been providing providing their time and efforts in the inoculation of the jab to the general public in quick and efficient manner. The best pad of working with PHASE is that they are very experienced-I appreciate that they are maintaining strict infection prevention guidelines during these vaccination camps too." While the staff are giving their best in the field. PHASE Management team is making sure that they themselves do not get infected. With generous support from donors like you we are working our best to keep our health staff are safe. We have made sure that all of our 15 mountanous stations have enough antizen testing kits, emergency medices and personal protective equipments. All our 40+ health staff have already received the both the doses of COVID-19 vaccines and are all fine. In case of any infection or complication we are standby to provide emergency support that has been made possible from the funds received from the people who donate in the project like this one.
