NAPE Foundation provides scholarships to students attending Palm Institute of Strategic Leadership. PISL is an organization committed to providing students in Ghana with the Leadership skills necessary to be successful in the business world, as well as provide them with the ethics and morals needed to be the next generation of leaders for Ghana and all of Africa.
A majority of young people in Ghana do not have access to higher education beyond Senior High School. Those that do attend training college or university, often graduate without the necessary skills and tools needed to be successful in professional industries. Business classes and courses are taught using rote memorization and focus primarily on Western applications of business that are not always applicable to Ghana and Africa.
Palm Institute of Strategic Leadership (PISL) is the first of its kind in Ghana. We teach 3 different 2-year diploma courses in business subjects with an emphasis on leadership and critical thinking. Our courses teach basic business principles with an African-centric focus that are applicable to modern business practice in Ghana. PISL will enable students to graduate, be successful in the workforce and become leaders amongst their peers. We will begin with 20 students in our first year.
PISL will enable students to become business and professional leaders with sound ethics and morals. PISL graduates will gain the necessary skills to be leaders not only in their businesses and professional lives, but in their communities as well. We provide scholarships to students in Ghana, (urban and rural Ghanaian communities) to ensure that our mission of "Raising the Next Generation of Leaders" reaches as many individuals and communities as possible.
