The last few months have been exciting for the Palm Institute. In the last three months we have completed our first academic year, and travelled to Brong Ahafo Region and its environs to recruit more students, allowing our current students to share their experiences at Palm with their peers. We have reached out to students in the Central, Western, Eastern, Volta and Greater Accra Regions as part of our admission drive for this academic year. Registration for freshmen has begun and will continue through mid September.
To date, we have enrolled 23 freshmen for the coming school year, bringing our total enrolment up to 49. Our first group of students are now beginning the final year of their 2-year diploma programs, and are performing exceptionally well. They are currently undertaking their compulsory internships at different organizations across the country.
It has been a joy to watch them learn and grow, and we are thoroughly looking forward to watching them thrive in the coming year. Furthermore, we are still in talks to begin offering three-year programs at Palm, and we are on the hunt for a new building space to accommodate our growing student body.
We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to all of our supporters and donors. Your constant support of this organization has had a profound impact on the lives of our students.
