German Concentration Camps Factual Survey is one of our most crucial achievements at 3 Generations. On January 6, we will be celebrating the one year anniversary of the film’s North American premiere in New York City. German Concentration Camp Factual Survey is a historical artifact that documented the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. Moreover, it is a visual reminder of the severe pain and suffering that comes with genocide.
Throughout this past year, we witnessed acts of genocide both nationally and internationally. In Charlottesville, Virginia, white supremacists rallied around the chant, “Jews will not replace us,” and a 32-year-old woman who protested against their message was murdered. We are also seeing the American government sponsor the destruction of native lands by the oil industry. In Myanmar, the Rohingya population is being expelled and killed off by the Buddhist majority, while the State Counsellor, Aung San Suu Kyi, continues to turn a blind eye.
