We are excited as we work towards distribution of the very film that inspired the founding of our organization: German Concentration Camps Factual Survey. Following a successful premiere at the Museum of Jewish Heritage this past May, we are currently negotiating terms for general distribution. With the release of the film to a wider audience, we hope to correct the intergenerational wrong that began with the silencing of founder Jane Wells’ father, Sidney Bernstein, when he first bore witness to the horrors of the German concentration camps. Keep an eye on the 3 Generations Facebook page, as well as the Night Will Fall/ German Concentration Camps Factual Survey web page for more news and information.
We have also been hard at work continuing to spread awareness of the horrors of genocide and its persistent impact on individuals and communities around the globe. By educating ourselves and others on the trauma of historic and ongoing genocides, we move closer to a world where empathy can prevail and genocide is no more.
You can support survivors of genocide and our efforts to end such atrocities by visiting our web page, www.3generations.org, and watching the interviews there. Your donation to our Global Giving page allows us to film more interviews like these, providing a platform for more survivors’ voices and helping them to heal.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
