The last few months have been filled with exciting events at 3 Generations. Our short film Three, which documents the story of three Syrian refugees in Jordan, recently premiered at the Socially Relevant Film Festival in New York City on March 17th. We were thrilled to have several members of our team at the event to see the reaction the film received.
In continuation of our efforts to have genocide included in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, we hosted environmental lawyer Polly Higgins on April 20th in New York City. Ms. Higgins spoke on many pressing issues within the topic of ecocide, and we were happy to be able to engage community members in conversation.
3 Generations Executive Director Jane Wells and Intern Luis Rivera-Nesrala also took part in the 2nd Annual Glocal Symposium at New York University on April 23rd. Rivera-Nesrala gave a presentation on Syrian refugees and how Western media has mischaracterized their true situation.
Our ability to honor these individuals and organizations is all thanks to our generous supporters just like you. We are dedicated to continuing our work in the fight to end genocide. We invite you to check out our website, www.3generations.org, for updates on this and all of our many projects.
