By Jane Wells | Founder, 3 Generations
Fall is here and with it comes a renewed sense of purpose and energy.
3 Generations continues to collect survivor stories and develop our model: honoring victims of crimes against humanity and genocide by helping them share their stories with the world. The power of story-telling to heal and inspire seems to be getting the attention it deserves. Recently Melinda Gates, of The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation wrote: "I believe that sharing stories of success is one of the most important things we can do....When Bill and I travel, we have been deeply touched by personal stories of lives changed for the better." At 3 Generations we applaud her recognition of the power of stories.
We will be adding a new Tibetan story in the next few weeks and we have been developing partnerships to learn best practices for bringing stories produced to high standards to the public.
We hope you will listen to the stories we are featuring and pass them along to your friends and social networks.
Thank you all for your support.
