The 160 beneficiaries are children Living with HIV and are on Antiretroviral therapy. They are living in poor households and in most cases lack basic needs of health, safety, food and schooling. The schools where they study don't provide lunch and this has resulted into non adherence to drugs due to lack of proper feeding which has injured their lives physically, psychologically, academically and health wise. 160 children will be supported to continue with education, provided with lunch, scholastic materials and increased household incomes for caregivers to be able to cater for the needs of these children and be given psychosocial support for proper and meaningful growth, sustained care and adherence to treatment.
Beneficiaries will adhere to drugs, develop their intellect, be able to complete their education, improve socialization skills and realize their full potentials, sustainable household income generating projects and children will live meaningful and positive lives. This will lead to improved general wellbeing of Children Living with HIV and contribute to the National HIV Response and achievement of Sustainable Development Goals No.1,3 and 4.
