We want to express our depth of gratitude for your kindness, care, and effort to continuously support the Mebriata Children’s Foundation Inc. (MCF). Your donation to the project “Sponsor food, education, shelter to Tigray orphans” has played a crucial role in preserving the lives of these children.
According to an article released by the European Union which reviews the aftermath of Tigray war, by April 2023, more than 2.3 million children were out of school in Tigray. The situation in Mekele, Tigray is catastrophic. MCF has been doing its part to ease the conditions and we have expanded our aid to five additional orphans who needed immediate assistance.
We want to thank you for your contribution so that MCF can provide food and basic needs as well as education in an effort for the kids to have a close to normal life in spite of the hardship they are experiencing. Your money has been spent to cover basic day-to-day needs such as providing nutritious meals, school tuition, new clothing as well as school supplies for the coming year. MCF has become a family to these children who face not only economic hardships but also need emotional support. We want to recognize that you made this happen!
