Sustain Lives of 25 Orphaned Children in Tigray.

On Friday, 01/10/2025, the Mebriata Children's Foundation organized a delightful picnic day for the children under its care. This event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of caregivers, volunteers, and staff to provide the children with a fun, bonding, and relaxing day. The picnic was a significant success, fulfilling its objective of creating joyful memories, emotional healing, and fostering a sense of community.

Event Highlights

1. Warm Welcome: The day began with a warm welcome from the staff and caregivers as the children arrived at the picnic venue. Volunteers set up colorful decorations, creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere.
2. Engaging Activities: A range of activities were planned to cater to children of various ages. These included games such as Sack races, tug-of-war, trampoline, and sliding down.
3. Food and Refreshments: A well-balanced and child-friendly menu was prepared, ensuring the children had plenty of energy to participate in activities. Snacks, fruits, and beverages were provided throughout the day, followed by a picnic-style lunch. 
4. Bonding Time: The event provided a platform for caregivers, volunteers, and staff to bond with the children in an informal setting, fostering trust and deeper connections.
