Challenge

For over 19 years, The Lake Clinic has served floating villages on Cambodia's Tonle Sap Lake-communities that live entirely on water, with no land, no roads, and no access to land-based health services. Our boats and floating clinics are their only link to medical care. But a clinic is its people. This project sustains our 25+ Cambodian staff: doctors, nurses, midwives, outreach workers, pilots, and cooks. Your support funds their salaries, their families, and their commitment to community.

Solution

Your donation directly funds staff salaries and essential operations-the "invisible costs" that keep us afloat. We prioritize: 1) Staff salaries, 2) Medical supplies, 3) Boat fuel and maintenance. This ensures our team of 25+ Cambodian staff can continue reaching isolated floating villages with medical care, vaccinations, prenatal support, and health education.

Long-Term Impact

Long-term, this project ensures that floating village families have consistent access to healthcare year after year. It sustains jobs for 25+ Cambodian staff who know the communities they serve. It prevents disease through vaccination and education. It saves lives through prenatal care and emergency treatment. And it builds a healthier, more resilient future for thousands of families.
