It is great news that Youth trained with help from friends through GlobalGiving under Project #6265 have started working in farming communities of 24 villages. 240 small farmers have been helped by youth through bio farming interventions.
Happy to inform you about the visit of Arko Banerjee from GlobalGiving visited VOICE Trust work villages on May 20, 2017 and interacted with farmers. He appreciated the strong works by Youth. He encouraged us to go forward.
True, many farmers are commiting suicide because of loss in agriculture due to climate change, increase in cost of production, decrease in yield, marketing blues and economic disasters. But, youth trained under project #6265 have brought in relevant interventions to make agriculture more sustainable through eco friendly and environment protecting techniques. It is heartening to record that no farmer in our work locations have commited suicide this period.
