MCCF's Journey Forward

By Victoria Geurts | Founder and President

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are excited to share a few updates on MCCF’s journey!

Our biggest focus right now is building a permanent home on our own land. Progress has been slower than expected, as monthly donations mainly cover food and daily needs, and unexpected medical or school expenses often arise. Still, thanks to your generosity and extra support from fundraisers, step by step, we are moving forward.

On the bright side, Asina, our blind student, has returned from her school vacation full of joy and confidence. At Saint Francis Catholic School, she has adjusted so well that she now helps welcome and guide new students — a true testimony to her strength and growth.

Tony was able to secure a short extension for us to remain on our current land, though we are working on solutions in case we need to move before our new home is finished.

Sadly, the adoption process for Sharon, our albino child, is currently delayed by administrative challenges in Uganda. We continue to pray for a breakthrough, as this opportunity would be truly life-changing for her.

Thank you for walking with us on this journey. Every gift you give helps build MCCF into a stronger, more self-sufficient community for the children.

With gratitude,
