Hey there! We wanted to share with you some updates regarding the Swim for Good event for 2025 and the Lesvos swimming classes more generally.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to sustain our swim classes for 5 days per week this year, for the entire swim season, from June to September! Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we held mixed swimming classes and every Tuesday and Thursday we held women-only swim classes for this entire period. Overall, this year, we had a total attendance of 545 across all these classes, with many attendees reporting an incredible development in their confidence and capabilities within the water. A huge success which wouldn't be possible without your continued support for 2025. Thank you!
The event itself, while smaller in scale than previous year, was really successful and promoted at least 5 other Swim for Good events in different cities around the world. I've included a few choice photos from the day on Lesvos, which was full of laughter, joy, community and good spirit.
Watch this space for more updates including a sneak peek at what we have planned for Swim for Good 2026! Thanks once again for supporting our mission to help refugees and asylum seekers re-establish a healthy relationship with water and the sea.
