Challenge

The destruction of infrastructure and lack of sanitation has resulted in a lack of safe water and hygiene facilities, leading to potential health risks. In addition, the earthquake have left many feeling traumatized, highlighting the urgent need for psychosocial support. Furthermore, the ongoing need for vital household items such as safe water containers, children's milk, diapers for children and adults, hygiene items, sanitary pads, and portable lanterns remains a concern.

Solution

Adequate funding will be used to provide basic necessities such as safe water containers, hygiene items, which are essential for ensuring the health and wellbeing of affected communities. Additionally, psychosocial support programs will be implemented, which would help alleviate the anxiety and trauma experienced by children and women. Similarly, water and sanitation facilities will be established, which are crucial for ensuring the long-term health and wellbeing of affected communities.

Long-Term Impact

By addressing the immediate needs of the affected communities, we can help prevent the outbreak of diseases and ensure that basic necessities are met. Moreover, the provision of psychosocial support programs can help reduce the long-term impact of trauma and anxiety on affected individuals. In the long run, the implementation of minor wash projects can have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of affected communities.
