On the International Day of Peace, we proudly reaffirm our shared commitment to building sustainable, community-led peace across Syria.
Thanks to your continued support, Peace Revival, in collaboration with the White Heart Humanitarian Association, successfully held a consultative session in Afrin as part of launching the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria.
This event brought together local civil society organizations, youth initiatives, and volunteer teams to collectively shape the network’s Terms of Reference (TOR) — ensuring that its foundation truly reflects the voices and needs of Syrian communities.
The network aspires to:
• Strengthen locally led peacebuilding efforts.
• Create inclusive spaces for dialogue and coordination among community actors.
• Build the capacities of youth and community-based organizations (CBOs) to become active peace resources.
• Foster partnerships and cooperation to enhance social cohesion and prevent conflict.
Through this initiative, we are not only creating a platform — we are nurturing a movement of peacebuilders who believe that genuine peace must rise from within communities themselves.
