Syrian Peace Resources Network: Voices of Hope

Dear Supporter,

We are pleased to share an update on the ongoing efforts of the Peace Revival Organization to establish the Local Peace Resources Network in Syria — a strategic step toward building a strong community structure capable of leading peace and development efforts from within.

Over the past weeks, the organization held two consultative dialogue sessions with the participation of more than 15 local organizations and associations, including representatives of civil society groups, youth initiatives, and volunteer teams.

These sessions provided an open platform for discussing the Terms of Reference for the network’s formation and exploring the roles of local actors in promoting stability, strengthening social cohesion, and supporting community resilience.

The goal of these meetings is to unify local efforts and create an effective coordination mechanism among different civil society stakeholders — turning the Local Peace Resources Network into a national platform that reflects the voices of local actors and supports context-driven, realistic peace solutions.

At Peace Revival Organization, we firmly believe that sustainable peace can only be built through cohesive local structures founded on trust, cooperation, and community-driven initiatives.
Through continued dialogues, the organization aims to form a national nucleus for the Local Peace Resources Network — a hub for coordination, experience exchange, and capacity-building — strengthening the role of civil society in leading peacebuilding and sustainable development across Syria.
