We extend our sincere gratitude for your continued trust and commitment to locally led peace efforts. Thanks to your support, Peace Revival Organization is moving forward with a series of community dialogue sessions aimed at establishing the Local Peace Resources Network in Homs Governorate.
During the latest session, representatives of local organizations, grassroots initiatives, and youth-led volunteer groups came together to discuss the foundational principles and proposed structure of the network. Participants explored how local peace resources can become an active force in strengthening social cohesion and addressing the daily challenges faced by communities.
A key focus of the dialogue was the central role that youth play in peacebuilding—given their unique ability to move, innovate, and build bridges across diverse community groups. Participants highlighted the importance of creating a flexible platform that brings together these young change-makers and equips them with practical tools for coordination, knowledge-sharing, and launching joint community-responsive initiatives.
These sessions are not merely preparatory steps; they are part of a foundational process to establish a sustainable, community-driven peace structure capable of growing and leading long-term change. Through ongoing dialogue and collective action, we are moving closer to forming a network that reflects the diversity of Syrian society and empowers local resources to take the lead in shaping a more stable and cohesive future.
