Syrian Refugees Relief Activities
Respected Donors,
Seasons Greetings...!
The Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) extends its heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of the Syrian Refugees Relief Fund. Your contributions have been instrumental in our ongoing efforts to provide essential assistance to those in dire need.
Sustained Support Since 2016
Since 2016, CHCS has been deeply committed to supporting Syrian refugees living in various cities across Turkiye. Our welfare teams have tirelessly worked on the ground, visiting relief camps in Urfa, Killis, Idlib, and Aleppo. During these visits, we have distributed vital relief goods, including food items, clothing, and cash, to improve the living conditions of refugees. Our efforts have brought some respite to those who have endured tremendous hardships and losses.
Major Relief Efforts in 2018 and 2019
In the years 2018 and 2019, CHCS amplified its relief efforts by dispatching numerous containers filled with essential supplies. These containers included a wide array of relief goods such as food items, clothes, and gifts for children. These distributions aimed to address the immediate needs of the refugees and bring some joy to the lives of children who have experienced significant trauma.
Recent Initiatives in 2023
More recently, in January 2023, a dedicated CHCS team visited Konya to continue our mission of providing relief. During this visit, we distributed food packets, cash, and gifts to 250 families. Recognizing the harsh winter conditions, we also distributed a large consignment of coal to be used as fuel, helping refugees stay warm during the cold season. This initiative was crucial in preventing additional hardships during the winter months.
