The Noble Gift support Families in need in Poland

The Noble Gift is one of the largest social program in Poland. Each year it helps thousands of people in need. This year we celebrated 23rd edition of the program.

XXIII edition of the Noble Gift in numbers

Since 2001, thanks to the involvement of Volunteers and Donors, thousands of Families in need receive wise, tailored help.

In the Noble Gift we work all year round to make sure that aid reaches the Families in need in December. This year during the Weekend of Miracles (16-17 of December) help was provided to 17 012 Families in need. Families got not only material support, but also hope for better future!

During 23rd edition of the program we connected almost 700 000 people – Families in need, Volunteers and Donors. It’s almost 100 000 people more than in previous year.

The value of material support provided in packages is almost PLN 74 million, which is over PLN 14 million more than last year. Thus, the value of aid since the beginning of the program is over PLN 638 million.

This year, over 12,000 Volunteers and 520,000 Donors were involved in the Noble Gift program. The average value of packages prepared for one family was PLN 4,343, 45% of packages were prepared by companies and institutions, and 55% by individuals.

The Noble Gift helped this year:

• over 60% of Families included in the program experience difficulties due to illness and/or disability;
• The Noble Gift reached almost 21,000 kids;
• the program reached over 5,000 seniors;
• over 30% of families included in the program are independent parents.

Stories of the Noble Gift families:

Chocolate, socks, a fire truck and bursts of joy

They are often tiny, lying somewhere at the bottom of boxes among other things. But they are the ones that make us happy the most. The packages often contained inconspicuous products that brought exceptional joy. Like a jar of chocolate cream that the children enjoyed because they could finally taste it. The old lady was so happy with the chocolate that she almost didn't notice the moment when a new washing machine appeared in the house. The boy with Down syndrome, when he saw that the boxes were delivered by real firefighters, was so delighted with their car that for a moment gifts became secondary. The gentleman who received a voucher for household appliances was the happiest when he saw the warm socks. When you have little, you can enjoy every thing because it contains the warmth of another person.
