Dear supporter,
I trust you are well and my email finds you in good spirits.
13 September - that's the date when all children in Romania will start school. Suceava county alone has 48% of its population living in rural areas - areas where children are fighting for basic tools to go to school such as a schoolbag, books and notebooks. For them, owning a tablet or a laptop is completely out of the question.
We are now living in a world where Internet and technological devices have become part of our every day living pretty much as much as the glass of water we need. We all know that jobs are turning more hihg-tech by the day: waiting tables requires a tables, driving requires you to know how to use a Sat-nav and the list can definitely go on.
That's why, I think it is somehow our responsibility to give these children the best educational tools they need to succeed in life, even if we are just talking about bus driving.
For them, we need to focus our efforts because the way we get involved in their education is the way we are paving our future.
I know we can do this together and we can make sure we are all living in a better world.
