Dear donor,
The 14th September marked the start of the school year in Romania. With over 1000 number of Covid cases on a daily basis, our concern is directed at the children we support.
Currently, all children in Romania are obliged to wear masks in school; maintain social distancing during classes and adhere to a new set of measurements to prevent infection with the new Corona Virus as much as possible.
At the same time, should we face a scenario where the number of cases go beyond 1 case per 1000 inhabitans; they will swap into a part online/part in school education.
For the children we support, moving onto the 2nd scenario currently seems like a mission impossible. They do not have the digital instruments necessary or the minimum of knowledge on how to use them.
That's why we make an appeal to you one more time to help us support orphans and disadvanatged children in need with tablets. Our goal is not just to equip them with tablets but teach them the necessary digital competences to be able to perform in school.
And we cannot achieve this without your help!
