Letter from Irina

Dear supporter,

Below you can find a letter that reached us from one of the children we have supported.

Dear Te Aud Romania team,

My name is Irina and I live in a village in Suceava County, currently in foster care.

I’m writing this message to thank you.

When I received the computer from you, I was overwhelmed. It was a gift I never expected. Even now, I feel the same joy I felt on the first day I opened it. It wasn’t just a device. It was a door. A door to a better version of myself.

Before this, I struggled with a tablet that froze often and couldn’t keep up with my curiosity or my schoolwork. I wanted to learn more, to explore, to grow—but I was held back by technical limitations. Then your gift arrived, and everything changed.

Thanks to this computer, I could follow up on classwork without stress or interruptions. I could finally understand the lessons better, engage more, and complete my assignments with ease. This computer helped me stay connected to my education when the world felt distant.

But it didn’t stop there. In my free time, I began to explore. I discovered new skills, practiced IT, took online tests, and read books I had only dreamed of reading. Everything I needed was just a click away. And with the large screen, I no longer strain my eyes—something that means more than I can say.

This computer has become a part of my journey. It helped me grow, not just as a student, but as a person. It gave me confidence, knowledge, and hope. It gave me the chance to dream bigger.
