This Project will benefit to 50 internal displaced begging mother women aged 15 to 40 years through 3 months vocational skills of tailoring training. The project will procure sewing machines, its tools and supportive clothes for practicing during the training, also begging and gender based violence survivor mother women will receive fifty dollars each per month in order to use their daily livelihood to stop begging, this will settle the future of the mothers and better care of their children.
Since the collapse of Somali Central Government & the broke out of continues war & recurrent droughts caused to increase the humanitarian needs & human rights violations in IDP camps. Forced internal displacement increased pressure on the already limited basic services. Women & Children are vulnerable of risk & violations, they are raped, massacred & they are always on the streets for begging to cover the livelihood. This project will affect 50 families in the IDP camps in Mogadishu.
HINNA organization will provides tailor skills training for 50 led household begging and gender based violence (GBV) mother women for 3 months living in camps of two districts (Daynile and Dharkenleey), the trainees will receive 50 dollars per month for livelihood purpose during the training duration and HINNA will distribute to them the procured sewing machines to work in order to cover their living standard as well HINNA will establish them as cooperators who sew the commercial cloths.
The project will empower and equip to 50 household led begging and gender based violence (GBV) survivor mother to change from the begging condition to business women, this will let them access of their families health and well-being.
