Train to Transform: Lifting Lives Through Microbusiness

By Dr. Betty Merveil-Ceneus | President

Linda Y. F.
Linda Y. F.

At 23 years old, Linda from Camasca, Intibucá, has always carried a strong sense of purpose—one grounded in faith, community, and the dream of building something greater than herself. Thanks to a business venture sponsorship, Linda is now turning her passion into a pathway for economic independence and community transformation.

Linda was trained in the art of jewelry-making using crystals and stones—a skill that not only sparked her creativity but also opened doors to entrepreneurship. With her training complete and her tools in hand, Linda has launched her micro business with the dream of designing and selling unique handcrafted jewelry.

Her vision extends beyond herself. She hopes to train others in her community, especially women and youth, empowering them with the same knowledge and opportunity she received. She currently sells her creations to local businesses, classmates, and friends, and with the help of this sponsorship, she plans to expand production and reach more customers.

Linda’s ultimate goal is to earn additional income to help her family cover daily expenses while setting an example of resilience and hope. Running her own business allows her to uphold Christian values of service and stewardship while creating something of lasting value for her community.

Let’s keep building brighter futures through small business opportunities. Together, we can foster self-sufficiency and strengthen communities.
