Dear friends,
TFT highly appreciates your generosity and support of our mission. This year, we have sent 45 teaching-fellows to the highly disadvantaged areas. Summing up with those who are already in service, we have 98 fellows in total spreading their influences all over the children, schools and even communities. Each of them are dedicating themselves the best in mitigating the inequality of education.
Moreover, we would like to show our gratitude to all of our friends, and would be honored to share this great news that TFT is commemorating our ten years anniversary this year. So far, we have sent over 300 talents to 80 schools to support more than 6700 kids. Especially in last year, more than 2400 kids were benefitted, setting the highest record for ourselves. On top of that, we have a collaboration with the country government of PingTung and local departments of CheCheng to set up an “Educational Innovation Base”, in order to more efficiently support those teachers and schools in need.
We couldn’t make these achievements without the help from each of you. This year, we are recruiting and selecting the 10th cohort TFT fellows. Look back to the past ten years, we are fortunate to have many talented people with leaderships at the action fronts, making changes within the classroom and broadening the influence all over to the whole education system; of course, we are fortunate to make a good team which is the force to support every action made or planned. Last but not least, we are fortunate to get support from all of our friends. We are still striving to fulfill our vision: One Day, All Children, hoping that regardless of the background, every child in Taiwan can have the opportunity of self-development.
