ELECTRONIC TEACHING AIDS FOR DISABLED CHILDREN

By Balajothi Bangalore | Project Leader

Electronic teaching aids for disabled children

(Project #21529 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled Trust)

Funding goal : $2,000 / Funds raised to date : $561.51

Project report due on : May 4, 2021 / Report sent on : Apr 23, 2021

Many of us are aware children with special needs have much difficulty communicating and interacting with others. They also find it very difficult to grasp concepts like numbers and alphabets if they are taught using conventional classroom techniques.  This project will equip our children and care-givers with electronic teaching aids such as keyboards, tablets, desk tops and musical instruments.

The current challenge is to raise funds for purchase of new teaching aids and recruitment of specialist teachers willing to brave the COVID-19 pandemic raging all around.  The lack of medical facilities, support structure and possibility of cure to victims are a very real hurdle to carry forward this project designed to help our special children.

Balajothi thanks YOU for your very sacrificial and generous contribution of $561.51 raised to date for this worthy cause of helping the forgotten community of disabled children.  YOUR contribution has made a huge change in their lives as they continue to lead their lives, untouched and untroubled by all the frenetic activities around them concerning this pandemic.  THANK YOU for making this possible.  We request you to share this project with your friends and family circles to enable us to keep this project alive and ongoing.  God bless you for your efforts.

THANK YOU GLOBALGIVING for your tireless efforts in raising funds for such causes that make an enormous beneficial impact in the lives of the underprivileged and needy around the world.  Thank you and may the Almighty watch over your team as they work in such risky areas and circumstances.
