I have seen Lesotho civilians suffer government oppression and injustice. I have seen countless women and children raped and brutally murdered. I have seen when perpetrators go free in my country while the victims of injustice were hopeless and depressed. I have seen employees exploited, shot and killed daylight. I have seen courts of law favor political elites and those who have financial power. The project will teach and protect 1000 victims of human rights violence in Lesotho.
The project will promote human rights, protect them, document human rights violation and injustice, provide situational, monthly, civilian causality and annual reports and act for the rights of people who are the the victims or survivors of human rights violation and injustice in the court of law. It will make sure that perpetrators are hold accountable. It will also advocate for injustice, end impunity and fortify self protection of human rights defenders who come under threat.
It envision a society where young people and vulnerable groups (victims or survivors of human rights violation and injustice) are valued as important part of humanity; where every human being is free from exploitation and all forms of violence, production and reproduction. it envision Lesotho that is free from human rights violation and abuse. It strives for the improvement of laws and justice system. To influence the government to create new laws, amend outdated laws and abolish colonial laws.
