We at Rede Cidadã are happy that 2023 was a year of achievements. We promote human and social development for integration into the world of work, welcoming people in the most diverse situations of vulnerability and preparing them technically and emotionally to enter and remain in the world of work. Contributing to quality education and collaborating with the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal 4.
In 2023, we had 4 computer labs implemented or refurbished in the following cities: Recife - PE, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, Nova Lima - MG and Lagoa da Prata - MG. These have contributed to training more than 16,000 people in programmes such as Apprenticeships, Internships and Projects. We were also able to give 1,097 young people access to technology programmes in partnership with Microsoft and IBM. These training courses available for certification contribute to digital empowerment with topics such as: Revolution 4.0, Internet of Things, BigData and content that contributes to ascension, maintenance and success in the world of work.
Among the Rede Cidadã projects, we would highlight START in partnership with the multinational Accenture and EquipYouth in partnership with the IYF - International Youth Foundation, which together have trained 538 young people using cutting-edge methodology, enabling these socially vulnerable young people to have an opportunity to develop with quality education, generating job opportunities that transform their social reality, as well as that of their families.
As Luiz, a young man who was a Rede Cidadã student on the Start Programme and is now a full Salesforce developer at Accenture, said: "I can say with total confidence that the Start programme has CHANGED MY LIFE."
All this is only possible thanks to the support of people and companies who, like you, believe in our work to provide opportunities and transform lives. Rede Cidadã is very fortunate to have people and companies who share the same vision of improving the living conditions of people who are socially vulnerable.
