Teach for Bolivia began the 2025 school year with 123 teachers working in rural areas, teaching computer science and robotics. This year, Teach for Bolivia started working on adapting a specific curriculum for computer science and robotics courses.
To achieve this, Teach for Bolivia began conducting diagnostic assessments of students to determine their academic level and adjust the curriculum in each educational unit according to the students' grade level.
It is important to highlight to our donors that Teach for Bolivia has expanded to the department of Santa Cruz, operating in four municipalities with 25 teachers who will follow the same teaching methodology as in the department of La Paz.
In order to maintain a standardized quality of education, teachers will receive joint training to ensure they can effectively replicate the teachings to their students, who are expected to reach at least 8,000 students this school year.
The school year began on February 3, and the 123 teachers started their first day of classes by getting to know their students. They are responsible for teaching robotics while incorporating the key themes of technology, gender, and climate change.
