PRIMER INFORME CAMPAÑA DE DONACIONES GLOBALGIVING
MONITOR DE SIGNOS VITALES PARA CIRUGÍAS EN QUIROFANO INFANTIL
Juan, Luisa, María y 2.000 niños más llegan cada año a nuestro Hospital Infantil con problemas de salud y angustiados, ellos y sus familia son recibidos por médicos y enfermeras que agregan a su conocimiento y amplia experiencia manos amorosas y brazos abiertos para tranquilizar y unirse a las familias en la sublime experiencia de preservar la vida.
Gracias a nuestros donantes podemos atender los niños con la mejor tecnología para que resurja la esperanza y el milagro de la salud. Con las donaciones de personas generosas que se unieron a la Campaña de Globalgiving logramos adquirir un Monitor de Signos Vitales para un quirófano en el que se realizan un promedio de 2.000 cirugías al año para niños con enfermedades de alta complejidad.
El Monitor de signos vitales permite detectar y procesar en forma continua los parámetros fisiológicos del paciente, entre ellos: frecuencia cardíaca, temperatura, presión arterial, saturación de oxígeno y medición de CO2. Consta además de un sistema de alarmas que alertan cuando existe una situación por fuera de los límites deseados. Es una herramienta muy valiosa para los médicos y enfermeras ya que les permite evaluar en todo momento el estado fisiológico o de salud del paciente y tomar las mejores decisiones en el diagnóstico y tratamiento.

VITAL SIGNS MONITOR FOR CHILDREN`S OPERATING ROOM
Juan, Luisa, Maria and 2.000 more children arrive at our hospital with health problems and totally anguished, they and their families are attended by doctors and nurses contribute with their knowledge and broad expertise together with their loving hands and open arms in order to reassure and join to families in the lofty experience to preserve life.
Thanks to our donors we can attend children with cutting edge technology so that hope can rise up again together with the miracle of health. With donations from generous people joined to Globalgiving campaign we have been able to acquire a vital signs monitor for an operating room where an average of 2.000 surgeries are performed annually for children with severe illnesses.
The vital signs monitor enables to detect and process on an ongoing basis physiological parameters of patients like: Heart Rate, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturation and Measurement of CO2. Additionally it has an alarm system put in alert when there are extreme limits of emergencies. It is a very valuable tool for doctors and nurses since it allows the assessment of the physiological status or health status of the patient and makes the best decisions in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
