"Eitan - Everybody Can!" is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment and integration of people with special needs, through professional fitness training. On April 1st, 2022, in Tel Aviv, we will launch the fourth annual "Eitan Run" . This non-competitive race will bring Eitan trainees, trainers and volunteers, from all over Israel, to run together in a show of solidarity and inclusion. Please consider sponsoring the runners!
People with special needs are often seen by society as being inferior. Their cognitive, emotional and physical abilities are looked-down upon. People without disabilities are viewing partnership with people with special needs as charity. The field is not equal.
The fourth annual Eitan Run will bring together thousands of people, with and without disabilities, for a non-competitive race in which we all get an opportunity to do something together, using a neutral common denominator, sports. Everyone will run and march together, sending a powerful statement to the world.
The Eitan Run will mobilize more Israelis to change the way they see their peers who are faced with special needs. It will mobilize them to show empathy, and not mere sympathy, and make sure that everyone is judged according to who they are.
