Save life make difference works to have  $25,000  to start distribution

Around 5.6 million displaced people from the DRC were established in the eastern provinces of North Kivu, South Kivu, Ituri and Tanganyika, according to the IOM, which specifies that violence is the main reason for these displacements.

The first visit of the Save Life Make Difference association took place in December 2023 in North Kivu where we established a list of 1,200 displaced people who will benefit from a sum of food, clothing and other products of 20 dollars per each

We thank the people of heart who sacrifice themselves for the people displaced by the war in the DRC who use GlobalGiving so that donations reach us, we encourage others who wish to help us because the situation is very critical

North Kivu: war-displaced people lack essential services for their survival and are experiencing a humanitarian tragedy

According to the United Nations, only 18% of people displaced in the last 6 months in the North Kivu province live in dedicated sites and collective centers, while 82% are housed in host families. This is the case in Oïcha, a rural commune of 360,000 inhabitants north of the town of Beni.

The collective centers planned to accommodate 5,700 people are in fact saturated, with 7,200 people accommodated, according to the Oicha Displaced Persons Committee. Other people who fled the fighting depend on the local population for housing or to find food and drink within the commune.
