Balsam provides free expert and compassionate care at home. Our highly experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team develops a personalized care plan for each patient in collaboration with their primary physician and family and in accordance with their wishes. We guide them throughout the process, help them make sense of treatment options, and offer them emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual support.
With increased support, thousands more patients in Lebanon will be able to receive critical palliative care in the comfort of their homes, ensuring dignity throughout illness. Over time, greater access to palliative care will strengthen families, ease pressure on hospitals, and build a more compassionate, patient-centered healthcare system, ensuring that serious illness is met not with isolation and suffering, but with comfort and guidance.
