The Lighthouse Baby Shelter takes care of orphaned, neglected, abused, and abandoned children who range from little babies to 17 years of age. The Lighthouse also has a door in the garden wall, called 'THE MOSES BASKET' where unwanted babies can be placed anonymously, which has saved so many lives. We need your help to cover their needs this winter!
The baby shelter has insufficient funds currently to take care of the monthly healthy eating and warm clothing requirements that come with the winter weather in South Africa in Johannesburg. Many of the younger children are now attending school and also need additional school stationery.
The finances from this project will help ease the financial burden of the baby shelter for the next 4 months.
By providing these children with a warm and safe environment, coupled with healthy food, will help them be happy and provide them with the care they need to become healthy young adults.
