The Miracle Orchard Restoration Home is a second phase restoration home for victims of Human Trafficking. In South-Africa the need for such a home is extremely big and currently non-existent. The home gives the ladies a period of developing skill while living in the home. Depending on the level of education the girl has, a development program is followed according to her need. A reintegration process is followed into a work environment and then back into society.
Second phase restoration homes for victims of Human Trafficking are currently non-existent. Many of the victims can not reintegrate back to families because of the brokenness of the family situations. Skill development plays a major role in reintegration for lack of education, skill and poverty is a big reason why victims were vulnerable for trafficking in the first place.
The second phase restoration home will give the ladies a time period of developing skill while living in the home. Depending on the level of education the girl has, a development program will be followed according to their need. There will be a reintegration into a work environment and then back into society.
The Miracle Orchard is also situated on a farm which will help to generate income to support the victims restoration. The long-term impact is having many victims of human trafficking become self sufficient and providing for themselves through having a job and finding purpose in life again.
