From basic check-ups and first aid to health education and referrals, Klinikalye ensures that no child is left behind when it comes to their right to health and well-being. In environments where access to healthcare is often limited or nonexistent, this initiative becomes not just a service—but a lifeline.

Beyond immediate medical attention, Klinikalye fosters trust, dignity, and hope among vulnerable children and youth. Health and Hope for Children in street situations

On November 7, 2025, Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc., a recognized leader in the protection and development of children and youth in street situations, collaborated with Global Medical to conduct a comprehensive Medical Mission and Outreach Activity. This initiative was part of Childhope’s continuing efforts under its Klinikalye program to provide accessible and consistent healthcare services to street children and ensure their overall well-being.

Guided by Childhope’s mission and structure, the activity delivered essential medical check-ups, individual consultations, and health assessments for 50 children and youth in street situations. With the support of Global Medical’s healthcare professionals and volunteers, Childhope ensured that each participant received proper medical attention, early detection of potential health issues, and guidance on preventive care. These services are vital for children who often face barriers to regular and reliable healthcare.

Beyond clinical support, Childhope Philippines incorporated socio-emotional enrichment activities to complement the medical services provided. Fun games and a sandpaper drawing activity were organized to promote creativity, social interaction, and emotional expression. These activities were thoughtfully aligned with Childhope’s holistic approach, ensuring that the children experienced both care and joy in a safe and nurturing environment.

The event highlighted Childhope Philippines’ unwavering commitment to addressing the multifaceted needs of children in street situations. By combining essential health services with developmental activities, Childhope demonstrated its comprehensive strategy for supporting children’s physical, emotional, and social growth. Health Mission reaches 100 street children

On June 7, 2025, the Asian Medical Students’ Association – University of the East Ramon Magsaysay (AMSA-UERM), in collaboration with Childhope Philippines, held a Klinikalye medical mission that served 100 children in street situations. The activity aimed to deliver free and accessible healthcare services—including medical consultations, basic medicines, and essential vitamins—to help address immediate health concerns and promote preventive care among underserved children. This initiative forms part of Klinikalye, Childhope’s mobile health program that brings medical attention directly to the streets where children are most at risk.

AMSA-UERM medical student volunteers played a vital role in the implementation. They managed registration, supported physicians during health assessments, and ensured each child received attentive and organized care. Their professionalism and active participation ensured that the activity ran smoothly and met medical standards. In addition to the healthcare services, simple recreational activities such as coloring and drawing were offered to create a safe, calming, and child-friendly space for the young beneficiaries.

Through this collaboration, Klinikalye demonstrated a holistic approach to community health—one that responds not only to the physical well-being of children but also to their emotional and psychological needs. The program underscores the importance of early health interventions in the lives of children in street situations and highlights how multisectoral partnerships can meaningfully address urban health disparities.
