Give Tibetans opportunities to tell the world their personal experiences of torture, imprisonment and cultural repression under Chinese rule. Help build awareness to end current atrocities in Tibet.
Over one-fifth of Tibet's population has died since the Chinese invasion, while many languish in prisons and labor camps. More than 6000 monasteries, temples and other cultural and historic buildings have been destroyed and pillaged. Today, Tibetans continue to live a life of repression under Chinese rule; with no freedom of religious practice or cultural expression they are subject to mass arrests, enforced disappearances, torture and imprisonment in order to enforce Chinese rule.
With sensitivity and consideration, we gather stories first hand from survivors. We then produce their stories using high quality professional video and audio. We share these stories with the world via our website and network.
Raising awareness of Tibet's plight, providing a call to action to end current atrocities and prevent those of the future. Providing avenues to share stories acts to both honor those who have died and to foster the healing process in survivors.
